Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #71

Here we are, back again for your favorite little meme!
I found these lovely, brand new windows this afternoon. Aren't they sweet? I am always a sucker for interesting ironwork...
Tonight marks Yom HaShoah, Israel's Holocaust Memorial Day. Something about these crisp new windows, built by Jews who are free in their own land, a land of religious freedom for all, contrasted with the images of the Holocaust, could almost give someone the chills. Thank God we are where we are in this world, and not where our parents and grandparents were!

Now it's your turn - to play along with us here at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and then sign up in the widget below. Have a wonderful, whimsical week, everyone!

Must make some great shadows inside having the sun behind.

Israel is indeed, freedom and liberty. I am in awe of Israel, a dynamic place for a free people!

Years ago I visited Dachau - a terrible and stark place of death. It shows that old adage that freedom is not free, it is now secured in your beautiful homeland...

Those are very nice but I wonder if they are purely decorative or protective. Thanks for hosting!

The grill is very nice - though I prefer my windows without them!

Yes, now in our own land the residents can choose to live behind bars, for added security and peace of mind.

I agree with you wholeheartedly about Israel and also about the interesting ironwork. It is a very graceful design with its curved/bowed frame and the pattern that reminds me of the shape of children's spinning tops. They cast interesting shadows too.
