Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! #134

Welcome back to your favorite little meme!
Here we are, just in time for the next edition (and last, for now) of my Old City of Jerusalem series:

And here we are, back again at the less-impressive-from-the-inside Zion Gate:
That's it for now! Can't wait to see you back here next week for something totally different :)
But in the meantime - it's your turn! Please play along with us here at Whimsical Windows, Delirious Doors! Just post your photo of a window, door, or anything architectural, link here, and sign up in the widget, below. Then go and visit our other players, so you, like me, can enjoy our differences and our similarities, from all over the globe :)
Have a wonderful, whimsical week, everyone - thanks for stopping by!

I love the looks of Old Jerusalem - a classic look with shutters that actually shut and streets of stone. What is interesting are the really old buildings are full of really modern multicolored data cables brining modern communications to the old neighborhood. An amazing contrast!

Jerusalem must be such an interesting city with a meltingpot of cultures - I see stairs up at the Zion gate - for the general public, or?

We keep hoping and praying for the safe return of the 3 kidnapped teens!

Jeanette - those stairs are the continuation of some that I posted a couple of weeks ago - anyone can go and see the view from the top of the walls!

Thanks for your hopes and prayers, they are much appreciated! We're all just so saddened by this whole awful situation. And as a mother with kids that age, it just really hits hard...

It is always a treat to see that wonderful Jerusalem stone.
